Computational Thinking and Acting is part of our everyday life that goes well beyond the multitude of computers  that are part of our everyday life.  We optimize our commute to work, process  complex information to make decisions about our life and always rely on data driven predictions of our world.

Computational Science Zurich aims to increase awareness of the public in these and more formal aspects of computation and increase awareness of its importance. The dialogue with the public takes place thorough Public Lectures and by visits to high schools by members of CSZ. In particular, members of Computational Science Zurich plan a number of visits to schools in Switzerland to raise awareness of this field to the coming generation.
