OVERVIEW
CSZ includes a PhD Program and a MSc Program, which offers a fast track to the PhD. An admission committee coordinates enrollment into the PhD program. The CSZ students need to actively participate in the program and to fulfill the requirements of their host institutions (University or ETH Zurich) and the respective Departments and Institutes.
KEY ELEMENTS
PhD students follow course work and acquire at least 12 credit points by the end of their PhD so as to comply with University and ETH regulations. The program aims to provide an interdisciplinary education for its PhD students through:
- Block Courses and Seminars (2-4 credits)
- Laboratory Exchanges (1-2 credits)
- Retreats (2 credits)
- Academia-Industry Modeling (AIM) Weeks (2 credits)
- Journal Clubs (1-2 credits)
